Arctic Council at the IPY-OSC
The International Polar Year- Oslo Science Conference is taking place in Oslo, Norway, in the period 8-12 June.
At the conference venue there is also an exhibition, Polar ExPO, where there is an AMAP/Arctic Council booth. At the booth, the SWIPA and GRIS films were shown, the Arctic Council and AMAP was presented on roll-ups and different reports, DVDs and information material were distributed free of charge to interested visitors.
The booth was very well visited and the information material was very popular among both the polar scientists and other pople that visited. One of the interested visitors on the first day was His Royal Highness Crown Prince Håkon of Norway.
