This year, the symposium will be dedicated in particular to celebrate launch of a brand new icebreaker, R/V Araon. Thereby the themes of this symposium will be focused on the polar research that can be achieved on platform of icebreaker or research vessel in the field of geosciences under the banner of “Polar Exploration with Araon”.
