The Summit will bring together scientists, policymakers, Indigenous Peoples, youth and other key stakeholders to create a strategic platform for advancing biodiversity conservation and strengthening knowledge exchange across the Arctic.
Building on the Arctic Council’s Strategic Plan 2021-2030 and the Actions for Arctic Biodiversity 2025-2035, the Summit will help build the structures and momentum needed to transform knowledge into influence and promote the conservation and sustainable use of Arctic Biodiversity.

The Summit Secretariat is the operational backbone of the Arctic Biodiversity Summit 2027 and holds primary responsibility for planning, coordination, and delivery of the Summit.
